Genuine Vacancy Report (Job Check)
Reporting that sets out the authenticity of the role, the need for it, and the employer's capacity to sustain it.

Ask us See all services and pricesWe run the whole recruitment — advertisement, screening, interviews — and write the labour market test report from it.
Before Immigration New Zealand approves a Job Check, an accredited employer must show the role was genuinely advertised in New Zealand and that no suitable New Zealanders were available. Most Job Check problems start here — an advertisement missing the pay range, a listing that closed on the wrong date, a recruitment record nobody wrote down. So we run the advertising ourselves. We write the listing to the advertising requirements, place it on the right platforms at our cost, run it for the correct period, and capture the evidence as it happens. When it closes we screen every application, interview the candidates worth interviewing, and write the whole thing up to the standard INZ assesses against. You get the shortlist and our reasoning to confirm before it goes in — the Job Check declaration is still signed by the employer — but the work is ours, not yours.
Summarised from Immigration New Zealand instructions current at publication. Instructions change — confirm the current position before relying on any figure.

Everything we need to write your Job Check Advertising Report (Labour Market Test), in one form. Fields marked * are required. Nothing starts until we confirm scope, a fixed fee and a delivery date.
Accredited employers and the advisers acting for them, who have not advertised the role yet.
They need to run a Job Check and have not advertised yet, or INZ has come back questioning their recruitment.
Typical turnaround: 10–12 working days standard, and the advertising period runs inside that
The same four steps on every file, whether it is a $155 translation or a $2,900 investor submission.
Complete the intake form on this page, or e-mail what you have. Upload the documents you already hold — we will tell you what is missing rather than guess.
Within one business day you get the scope, a fixed fee and a delivery date in writing. Nothing starts until you accept. The fee does not move afterwards.
Drafted from your evidence, to the standard the assessor works to, with every figure sourced and nothing asserted that the evidence does not support.
Tell us what needs to change and we revise once at no charge. Most files never need it, and it is there so you are never stuck with a document that does not fit.
No. We write the advertisement, pay for the listing, place it on the platforms the role needs, screen every application against your brief, and interview the candidates worth interviewing. You tell us up front what an applicant must have; we do the rest and send you the shortlist and our reasoning to confirm.
Yes. The platform fees are part of the fixed fee, on the platforms the role needs. There is no separate advertising invoice.
The employer does — that is fixed by Immigration New Zealand and cannot be delegated. So before anything goes in the report we send you the shortlist, the interview notes and the reason each candidate was not suitable, and you confirm it. The work is ours; the declaration stays yours.
Then we tell you, and you should hire them. That is what the labour market test is for. It is a real recruitment process, not a formality — and a Job Check built on a process that was genuinely open is the one that survives scrutiny.
No — that is often the strongest position. What matters is proving the ad ran correctly and was genuinely open. We document the nil result properly.
The advertising period itself is the long pole — 14 days for skill level 1 to 3, 21 days plus Work and Income engagement for 4 and 5. Standard turnaround is 10 to 12 working days including that. Tell us if you are against an INZ deadline.
Green List roles, roles paid at twice the median wage and Gaps-in-workforce roles are exempt. Say so on the form and we document the exemption instead — no listing, and it is quicker.
Reporting that sets out the authenticity of the role, the need for it, and the employer's capacity to sustain it.
